Most of these tiles were given to me by another Sarah, Chinese porcelain for the sky and bird, and French Le Moges for the street. An address for a great craftsman home in Berkeley. It has a lovely garden. The woman who commissioned the piece creates amazing quilts and her husband is the ex-bass player for the JGB Band - Rob. Kevin Evensen, exclusive art service, delivers and installs my work. He has an impressive list of clients and delivers art in and out of San Francisco. I am lucky to have such a reliable professional for this part of the job.
Ellen is the potter who made the bowl that was used to make our new doorbell. Our cool glow in the dark doorbell was needed New Years Eve elsewhere in the universe. 2008
17"x8" It replaces 8 missing tiles and is part of a wall above the sink in a kitchen. The Great White area is Canada. The U.S. is made with Irish handmade tile given to me by my friend Donna W. The longitudinal lines run through water and stop at land. It bears close examination. North is noted with a hand painted tile by Bay Area artist Sherie Olson. 2000

In progress at the Sea of Cortez, Mexico ... Mixed Media, found objects, hanging sculpture. I built this in Mexico, as I watched the summer solstice skies and tried to figure out the planets spin, how we spin... Inspired by my art partners Char Green and Dave Kardatzke.
The black tile is from Mexico. The vase was so delicate... now it is a shelf in my yard. The copper shelf is part of a larger outdoor crystal and copper tent like structure that is an ongoing collaboration with Char Green. 2007
